GoLang Developer
Location: remote
Interview Mode: Hirevue coding test, then phone screen then, virtual technical interview with manager
Type: Long term contract

• Location: Remote candidates accepted, no time zone restrictions.
• 6-month contract with a possibility of extension
• The team is looking to bring someone in that can assist with the tech debt using GO service.
• Main responsibilities: Slimming, optimizing, testing, core maintenance
• Required skills: Extensive experience with GO (This is a must-have!)
• Nice to have: Experience with Python/Fast API
• Prescreening: 5 questions + game +coding **Note: Coding exercise MUST be completed in GO language!
• Interview process: 15-30 minute meeting with the HM, 1 hour technical screening

As an Experienced Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend services and APIs. Your expertise in Go (Golang), will be crucial to delivering seamless and efficient solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.


Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Extensive GO experience
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).
• Strong analytical problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang) and Python.
• Maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and other frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other engineers to design and implement scalable and efficient solutions.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologie
